As Director of Operations, with over two decades of experience, Heather’s skills in project management and mentorship are guided by her love of the pragmatic fundamentals of design. She is tireless in her application of technical knowledge to guide projects to completion, and values clear communication to achieve successful design solutions. Galvanized by watching things grow, she is creatively influenced by natural beauty, plants, and watercolors, and committed to sustainable architectural practices through an innovative use of materials. Along with her passion for vermiculture composting and recycling, she is active with many VDT initiatives, including buildGREEN(or)die, the Collaborative Design Workshop, Office Standards, and Technology Management.
