Leticia Ransom

Leticia Ransom built a successful career in human resource management by capitalizing on her skills and networking abilities. With more than two decades of progressively responsible experience on her resume, she currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at VDT. Leticia is the first dedicated HR resource for VDT.
Leticia joined VDTA in May of 2018. Partnered with the Leadership Group, she provides guidance and expertise in developing and implementing strategic initiatives, best practices and refining our organizational culture. She is responsible for managing the firm’s Human Resource Operations; maintaining compliance with employment laws and regulations; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance, recruiting, succession planning, staff mentorship/counseling and HRIS management.
Leticia is also a national and local chapter member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), where she serves on the SHRMChicago Board.
She is a life member of Dillard University National Alumni Association and has served as President of the Roosevelt University Southside Alumni Association and a life member.
Leticia earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Dillard University in New Orleans and an M.B.A. in finance and marketing from Roosevelt University in Chicago. She holds certifications from the Society for Human Resources Management and Professionals in Human Resources and has been trained in performance-based mediation by the Center for Conflict Resolution.
